Bioprospecting of pharmaceutical actinobacteria from special environments and development of new strategies to discover new antibiotics.

Research Interests：

Dr. Liu has been engaged in exploring new strategies to discover new antibiotics, such as bioprospecting of pharmaceutical actinobacteria from special environments, discovery and identification of novel species of pharmaceutical actinobacteria, highly efficient discovery of new antibiotics based on modern analysis technology and multi-omics dereplication strategy, high throughput screening and activity evaluation of anti-infective compounds, etc.
