The research group was established in July 2012 and has been in charge of National Key Research and Development Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and mainly participated in National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), National Major Scientific and Technological Special Project for “Significant New Drugs Development” during the Eleventh/Twelfth/Thirteenth Five-year Plan Period, Scientific and Technological Innovation Project and Beijing Science and Technology Plan (Key Project), etc. The research platform of nano-delivery system of small molecule drugs, nucleic acids, polypeptides and other macromolecular drugs and sustained and controlled release delivery systems has been developed. There were one scientific and technological achievement transformation, more than 40 publications and 13 Chinese invention patents. The principle investigator won the second grade of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology in 2019.

The group are interested in the pharmaceutics, including tumor-targeting nano-delivery system, co-delivery system for siRNA/miRNA and small molecule drugs, targeted nano biological materials as well as sustained and controlled preparations of active ingredients from natural products.
